Bio: Elvis Presley was an American singer and actor, commonly referred to as “the King of Rock”. Known as one of the originators of rock and roll, Elvis’ fusion of up-tempo rockabilly music and swing-inspired rhythm and blues led to the popularisation of a genre which would go on to inspire the likes of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, making Elvis responsible for much of popular music’s greatest creations even to this day.
